The OHSVCA is seeking candidates for the position of

ELITE CAMP LOOKING FOR HIGH SCHOOL COACHES-

Who:     High school/junior high coaches in the state of Ohio.
What:   Are invited to come to the elite camp for a day or for the entire week.
Where: Ohio Northern University, Ada, Ohio
When:   July 20 - July 24, 2008
Why:     IT IS FREE!!!   You get to hear and watch at least 9 different college coaches.   You get to see them do drills, set up an offense, set up a defense, teach and work on skills, all with high school players.
IT IS FREE!!   You will have time to ask questions, to discuss techniques with them, to talk strategy and volleyball.
IT IS FREE!!   You get free room and board!!! We do ask that for all of the perks -   'our gofers' help with the running of the camp.... Laundry, supervision in the dorms, and some officiating

Molten To Provide Official Volleyball For OHSAA Tournaments
  • Molten U.S.A., Inc., has been selected to provide the Ohio High School Athletic Association with the official ball for OHSAA volleyball tournaments, Commissioner Dan Ross has announced. The OHSAA Board of Control approved the selection of Molten at its January 11 meeting.

    The partnership between Molten and the OHSAA is for 2007 and 2008, with an option for 2009. The IV 58L-U will be used at all OHSAA sectional, district, regional and state tournament contests beginning next fall.

  PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Welcome to the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association website.  We hope you find our site both informative and user friendly.  The headings across the top pull down for easy access to valuable information.  One of our most popular sites during the season is the results page.  Match results are available immediately after the competing coaches post their scores.  The weekly coaches poll is listed starting the second week of the season and is updated on Monday evenings.  All trustees, officers, and coordinators can be contacted via their ohsvca.org email account.

 The OHSVCA is a volunteer organization with over 1000 members working to promote volleyball in Ohio.  The OHSVCA sponsors many activities including team and individual scholastic recognition, All-Star Match, All Ohio Awards, the state poll, coaches milestone awards, college scholarships, hospitality room at state tournament, Elite Camp and many more.
